SPRING BRUNCH: Holy Angels Church, Altona, Sunday, April 15, 2012 Serving 8 AM - 1 PM


HOLY LAND/GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION: Christians around the world are united in a special way during Lent, Holy Week and Easter. Our hearts and minds are also aware of the Holy Land. As a collection requested by Pope Benedict XVI, the annual Good Friday collection offers a direct link for parishioners to be witnesses of peace and to help protect the sacred shrines. Your donation is supporting Christians in the Holy Land as well.


EASTER FLOWERS: Envelopes are available at the entrance to the church for your contributions for Easter flowers in memory of special persons.


STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Public Stations of the Cross will be held each Friday of Lent at 6:30 PM at St. James Church. Please try to include these as part of your Lenten prayer.

Lent Lunches - St. Joseph’s Dannemora + Dannemora United Methodist churches will host Lenten Luncheons on the Mondays of March, 11:30am-1pm. Lunch is free, open to anyone in the general area and beyond … an opportunity to enjoy the company of fellow Christians. If you can attend, please do so and lend your affirmation to our neighbors.
SPORTSCAMP: SportsCamp 2012, held at Wadhams in Ogdensburg, is a great place where boys and girls age 11-15 blend quality sports training with spiritual growth. Camp Dates: Basketball, July 8-12, Soccer July 8-12.Info at 315-393-2920 or www.catholiccamps.org
