Elmore SPCA will be holding its annual furniture sale on Saturday, October 5 from 7 am to 4 pm at 142 Park Row, Cadyville. All proceeds will benefit the
animals awaiting adoption at Elmore. Donations of furniture and decorative items are sought. Call Joe Swinyer at 293-7528 to arrange deposit or pickup of items for the sale. We thank you.

contemplation on Saturday, September 14, 11 a.m.-4:00 p.m given by Fr. Bill Edwards The talk will be followed by lunch, contemplative prayer and Anticipated Mass at 4 p.m. RSVP by Sept. 11. Our goal is to have 103 or more families participate in this important Appeal. If we do this, we will surely exceed our parish financial target of $9,120. Your gift to the 2013 Bishop’s Fund Appeal will help continue the vital ministries, services and programs that reach out to so many in need. Please consider making a pledge or one-time gift to this year’s effort.

LABOR DAY CELEBRATION:The annual Labor Day Celebration at Holy Name Church, AuSable Forks, kicks off at 10am on Monday, September 2nd with a parade and continues throughout the day with lots of food, games and fellowship.

MARRIAGE JUBILEE MASS: The annual Marriage Jubilee Mass to honor those couples in our Diocese who are observing significant wedding anniversaries will be celebrated by Bishop LaValley on Sunday, September 15th at 2:30 PM at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Ogdensburg. All married couples are welcomed to come together with their families for this event.
