MARCH FOR LIFE: The bus for the Washington Rally and March for Life will leave Tuesday, January 21 at 7:30 PM at St. Peter’s Church. It will leave Washington on Wednesday, January 22nd for return trip. To reserve a seat or to obtain more information, please contact Karen Smith at 566-6229. The cost of the trip is $30.

DECORATING THE CHURCH:    You are invited to decorate the church, prepare the manger scene for the festive Christmas season on Monday morning, December 23rd starting at 10:00.. It should take about two hours.  Please come to  help us as well as to give us your decorating suggestions.

HEALING MINISTRY: Living Waters Healing Ministry Mass at St. Alexander’s Church, Morrisonville, First Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM.

RETIREMENT PLAN FOR PREISTS: The Diocese of Ogdensburg’s Retirement Plan for Priests has long been supported by parish contributions from its annual Christmas Collection.  Beginning in 2011, 100% of the Christmas Collection is contributed for support of this Plan.   .  The entire Christmas Collection goes to fund this Retirement Plan.

CHRISTMAS FLOWERS:  Envelopes are available for you at the entrance to the church for your assistance in providing Christmas flowers. You can write on the envelope the names in whose memory you are making this offering.

OFFERTORY ENVELOPES: You will find your box of Offertory envelopes for 2014 at the entrance to the church. Extra boxes are available for those of you who do not have a designated box. Youth envelopes are also available. Please pick up a box.

NEW BEGINNINGS:  The “New Beginnings” group for divorced or separated individuals has again begun meeting weekly under the direction of Mr. Robert Dominic.  They are held every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Upper room at Saint Peter’s Church.   Anyone interested should contact Deacon Mark  at 563-1692.

GLUTEN FREE HOSTS: If you are in need of a gluten free host, simply inform Fr. Deno before Mass, and he will make sure there is one available for you at Communion.

MARCH FOR LIFE:  March for Life on January 12 starts at The Newman Center, 90 Broad Street at 1:30 and ends at St. John's Church, 20 Broad Street. The march will be followed by a prayer service with Kathleen Gallagher, the director of pro-life activities for the New York State Catholic Conference. Light refreshments will be served in the church basement after the service.

FUNERAL: A funeral was celebrated this week for Jennifer Merrill.  Please remember her and her family in your prayers.

BAPTISM: Karson Daniel Lucia, son of Eric and Lisa (Facteau) Lucia became a member of the Catholic community through the Sacrament of Baptism on December 8th.
