If interested Please call the Church office at 561-5039. SAINT PETER’S MISSION: St. Peter Church in Plattsburgh has a parish mission 7 pm October 1st-3rd conducted by Fr. Jack Connor, C.P., a national retreat giver from the Passionist Community. He will be speaking on our universal call to holiness. All are welcome on any or all evenings. DISCUSSIONS ON FAITHFUL CITIZENSHIP: The Diocese of Ogdensburg will host a series of webinars entitled, Discussions on Faithful Citizenship in collaboration with the New York State Catholic Conference. It will be an interactive discussion about the issues that face us in these times. You can register as an individual. All you need is a computer with internet connection. The webinars will be held on Sunday Oct 21st and Monday Oct 22nd beginning at 8 pm and ending at 9:30 pm. CHAMPLAIN VALLEY RIGHT TO LIFE: The Champlain Valley Right to Life meets on the second Wednesday of the month at St. John’s Church, Plattsburgh at 7:00 PM. All are welcomed to attend these meetings. CATHOLIC CHARITIES: Catholic Charities recently announced that Darry Roberts is the new Area Director/Clinician for the Clinton/Essex County Catholic Charities Office located at 43 Durkee Street, Plattsburgh. BISHOPS FUND APPEAL: Our parish’s Bishop’s Fund Appeal activity is coming to a close. If you have not yet made a gift or pledge, please pray about your decision and make a pledge or one-time gift. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 2012-13: The Religious Education Program for Grades 1-5 will be held on Thursdays whenever the Saranac Central School is in session. The first class will be Thursday, October 4th. Continuing classes for Confirmation preparation will begin on Sunday, October 7 at 6:30. Parents of students in grades 6-8 will meet on Sunday, October 7 at 2:00 PM at St. James Parish Center. MARRIAGE TIP: Even if we are not called to sell all that we have we probably are called to not buy everything that it is possible to buy. What do you expect to spend money on today?
