If interested Please call the Church office at 561-5039. THANKSGIVING DAY MASS: Mass in memory of Thanksgiving will be Thanksgiving day at 8:30. CHRISTMAS FLOWERS COLLECTION: As in the past you will find envelopes at the entrance of the church for donations for Christmas flowers and decorations. Place the envelopes with your contribution in the collection basket. Your generous contribution is very much appreciated. CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT: The Collection for the Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) provides funding for groups that create lasting change and uplift the poor in the United States. In the last five years, over 36% of CCHD’s grants have gone toward advancing education, supporting economic development, and improving housing in low-income neighborhoods. You can help participate in this tradition today. Give to the CCHD Collection. GIVING TREE: Through the assistance of the Ladies of St. James the Giving Tree will be up by Saturday, November 24th. Your gifts will need to be under the Giving Tree at the end of Masses on Sunday December 9th. Tags with the first name of a child will be placed on the tree for which you can bring a wrapped gift. Last year St. James Parishioners were VERY responsive to this act of giving to needy children CHAMPLAIN VALLEY RIGHT TO LIFE: The Champlain Valley Right to Life meets on the second Wednesday of the month at St. John’s Church, Plattsburgh at 7:00 PM. All are welcomed to attend these meetings. CALENDARS: The 2013 St. James Parish Catholic Family Appointment calendar is available at the entrance to the church.
