MARCH FOR LIFE: The bus for the Washington Rally and March for Life will leave Tuesday, January 21 at 7:30 PM at St. Peter’s Church. It will leave Washington on Wednesday, January 22nd for return trip. To reserve a seat or to obtain more information, please contact Karen Smith at 566-6229. The cost of the trip is $30.

RETIREMENT FUND FOR RELIGIOUS. Your donation to the special  Retirement Fund for Religious collection this week helps provide necessities such as prescription medication and nursing care for retired religious sisters and brothers.

HEALING MINISTRY: Living Waters Healing Ministry Mass at St. Alexander’s Church, Morrisonville, First Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM. 

ADVENT PREPARATION: Advent DAYBREAKS, a booklet of reflections on Advent and Christmas, is still available at the entrance to the Church.

MARRIAGE TIP: “There is an appointed time for everything…a time to be silent, and a time to speak” (Ecclesiastes 3:7). In your marriage do you need to hold your tongue more so your spouse can speak, speak up more so your spouse knows what you’re feeling, or is everything just right?. MARCH FOR LIFE PILGRIMAGE:  College Students and Young Adults from the Diocese of Ogdensburg will sponsor a 4 day – 4 night pilgrimage to Washington January 19-23.  The Pilgrimage will include the Vigil Mass for Life at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and visits to other important Shrines and Memorials, The all-inclusive cost is $175 per adult.  For more information please email: Father Timothy Canaan at frtim@broadstreetcatholics.org  Registrations must be submitted no later than December 16, 2013.

CHRISTMAS FLOWERS:  Envelopes are available for you at the entrance to the church for your assistance in providing Christmas flowers. You can write on the envelope the names in whose memory you are making this offering.

GIVING TREE: All gifts must be under the Giving Tree no later than the 10:00 AM Mass this weekend.

OFFERTORY ENVELOPES: You will find your box of Offertory envelopes for 2014 at the entrance to the church. Extra boxes are available for those of you who do not have a designated box. This year those of you who contribute in weekly envelopes provided 86.4% of the funds needed to support St. James Church and Parish.  THANK YOU!  

NEW BEGINNINGS:  The “New Beginnings” group for divorced or separated individuals has again begun meeting weekly under the direction of Mr. Robert Dominic.  They are held every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Upper room at Saint Peter’s Church.   Anyone interested should contact Deacon Mark  at 563-1692.

GLUTEN FREE HOSTS: If you are in need of a gluten free host, simply inform Fr. Deno before Mass, and he will make sure there is one available for you at Communion.
