Mission Intention for October: That the celebration of World Mission Day may help all Christians realize that we are not only receivers but proclaimers of God’s Word.

PRIESTHOOD: October 27th is "Priesthood Sunday." As usual, we will be showing our appreiation for our pastor. Please join us at our Parish Center after the 10:00 o'clock Mass for reception to honor Father Deno.

HEALING MINISTRY: Living Waters Healing Ministry Mass at St. Alexander’s Church, Morrisonville, First Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM.

CATHOLIC CALENDARS: Calendars for 2014 indicating the special holy days and saints of the Catholic Church are available for your home or workplace. This year they are on the theme of Christian stewardship.

IN MEMORY OF OUR DEPARTED FAMILY: The Catholic Church invites us in the month of November to remember all those who have died. Envelopes are available at the entrance to the church for offerings for Masses for those who have died.

BAPTISM: Henry Howard Stoughton, son of Kiel and Kayla (Loveless) Stoughton became a member of the Catholic community through the Sacrament of Baptism on October 13th.

FUNERAL: A funeral was celebrated this week for Donald Jordan. Please remember him and his family in your prayers.

CHURCH ANNULMENTS: An informational presentation concerning annulments in the Catholic Church will be sponsored by the Catholic parishes throughout Clinton County and hosted in the Emmaus Room at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh, on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. The presenter will be Msgr. Harry K. Snow.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY: Today is World Mission Sunday! We are called to this Eucharistic Celebration and invited to “do good on earth,” to be missionary by putting our faith into action in support of the work of missionaries. Your prayers and generous gifts to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith on World Mission Sunday support the tireless work of so many priests, religious and lay leaders around the world as they offer practical, emotional and spiritual care bringing the light of Christ to the darkest of circumstances.
