EASTER
DUTY:
All Catholics who have reached the age of reason must confess their serious
sins in the Sacrament of Penance at least once a year. They must also receive
Holy Communion at least once each year during the Easter season, which this
year extends until Trinity Sunday, June 15th.
CLOTHING SALE: St.
Vincent's, 3028 Main St, Peru, will hold its annual sale of gently used summer
clothing the week of April 14-19.
Store hours will be Monday
(April 14) through Thursday (April 17) from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Thursday
evening (April 17) from 6:30-9:00 pm and Friday (April 18) and Saturday (April
19) from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. A special large bag price of $6.00 will be
available Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday.
WORLD YOUTH DAY REGISTRATION: Are you a young
adult interested in participating in World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow,
Poland? The Diocese of Ogdensburg is
coordinating a group to join with young people from across the world to
participate in this awesome and faith-filled event. The deadline for registration and the initial

take up the annual Good Friday Collection for the Holy Land. Christians
living where Christ walked, taught, lived and died, live in a land of war,
death and destruction. The Holy Land
Collection is a pontifical collection that supports the Holy Land for the
welfare of their Christian brethren and of the local communities. Funds for
this collection not only support the holy places, but also pastoral,
