EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: We adore you, Jesus, and we thank you, for you make truly present in the Eucharist the mystery of that unique gift you offered to the Father 2,000 years ago with your sacrifice on the Cross. (Pope John Paul II, March 15, 2005). Eucharistic Adoration is held throughout the year every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 am to 9 pm at St. John’s Church Adoration Chapel, downstairs. Everyone is invited to spend some quiet time with Jesus anytime during these hours. For more information about spending a special hour with Jesus weekly, or becoming a substitute, please call 561-5083 or email us at Sjohnsadoration@aol.com
GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION: The daily news reminds us of the violence and instability plaguing the Middle East, but we rarely hear of the
shrinking Christian community there, a community that struggles to remain in the land of Christ’s birth, death and resurrection. Please help support our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land by giving to a special Good
Friday Collection. This allows the Franciscans and others to continue caring for Christianity’s holiest sites and for God’s people in the Holy Land.
EASTER FLOWERS: Envelopes are available at the entrance to the church for your contributions for Easter flowers in memory of special persons.
MARRIAGE TIP: Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing. If you want to change your spouse, try changing yourself first. Find more Marriage Rx at:www.foryourmarriage.org
