Mission Intention for June
That every national and international institution may strive to guarantee respect for human life from conception to natural death.

THANKS FROM BISHOP LAVALLEY: Since February 23rd, the date of the announcement of my appointment as Bishop of Ogdensburg, I have been inundated with beautiful cards, very generous gifts, kind words and prayerful support. I have been warmly and enthusiastically greeted at the deanery gatherings and Confirmation liturgies. What an honor and privilege it is for me to be Shepherd of the Diocese of Ogdensburg! Please accept my sincere gratitude to all of you for such generous expressions of affectionate support. I hold you all in prayer each day and ask your continued remembrance in prayer as we continue our joy-filled journey to the Father. God bless you and your loved ones!

VETERANS, ST. JAMES CEMETERY: As we remember those who fought and died in the wars of our country it is most important that we also remember in thanksgiving and prayer those of our parish who died in these wars and who are buried in the cemeteries of our community including St. James Cemetery. Of these veterans 16 soldiers who fought in the American Civil War (1861-1865) are buried in St. James Cemetery.
