CATHOLIC COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGN: Next week we will take up the Collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) in our
parish. This Collection supports the essential work that keeps the gospel message in the world, providing Catholic content for radio, the Internet, MP3 players, television, and print publications. Please be generous in this important Collection. CCC is how the Good News gets around to you.

DAY OF REFLECTION - Jesus the Harlequin, Friday, June 10, 9:30-2:30, OLA House of Prayer, Ellenburg Center. SPORTSCAMP: SportsCamp 2011, held at Wadhams Hall in Ogdensburg, is a great place where boys and girls ages 11-15 blend quality sports training with spiritual growth. The focus of SportsCamp is to help young people become better athletes and better people. Basketball Camp is for July 3rd - July 7th and Soccer is scheduled for July 10th - 14th. CAMP GUGGENHEIM: The Camp operates six weekly sessions from June 26th – August 5th. Each weekly Camp begins on Sunday at 3 pm and ends on Friday at noon. Weeks One through Five are specifically designated for 12-15 year olds. Week Six is for 16-18 year olds. The Camp fee is $270.00 including a non-refundable $100 deposit. FORMATION FOR MINISTRY: Formation For Ministry is now recruiting candidates for the 2011 – 2013 formation classes. If you feel compelled to serve more deeply in your parish’s ministries, take a few minutes to speak with your pastor about the possibility of entering the Formation For Ministry program. The two year adult formation process offers participant an opportunity to grow in knowledge, faith and spirituality through weekly classes, annual retreats and ministry workshops.

THE ROMAN MISSAL, THIRD EDITION: The new ritual text containing prayers and instructions for the celebration of the Mass will be implemented in each parish on the First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011. The revised edition contains additional prefaces for the Eucharistic Prayers. The English translation will also include updated translations of existing prayers, including some of the well-known responses and acclamations of the people. A special website has been prepared to serve as a reliable resource for all interested in knowing more about this revision.
