SETON DINNER: The Elizabeth Seton Chapter of the National Honor Society will have spaghetti and meatball dinner on Saturday, March 23 from 4:7:00 PM at Seton Academy on North Catherine Street.
CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me” (Mt 25:35). Today, we are reminded of Jesus’ call to see him in all those we encounter. Works of the Holy Father/The Catholic Relief Services Collection sees Jesus in displaced families, those who seek to change unjust laws, and those who need pastoral care and humanitarian assistance around the globe. How will you help Jesus in disguise? Please be generous in today’s Collection.

MARRIAGE TIP Talking is not always the same as communication. Talk is cheap. Being a person of one's word and following through with action makes communication true. Find more Marriage Rx at www.foryourmarriage.org
“HOLY” SMOKE: For the election of a new Pope each Cardinal submits a secret ballot. Two-thirds of the cardinals must choose the same person. If
this doesn’t happen, they vote again. Each day during the conclave the cardinals vote up to four times. If they do not come to an agreement the ballots are burned with some damp straw that makes the smoke black. When the smoke comes out of the chimney, the people outside the Vatican know that a pope has not yet been elected. Once the election is final, the ballots are burned without the damp straw and white smoke comes out of the chimney. This signals that the Church has a new pope!
