Our theme is Jesus- The Way, the Truth, and the Life. Chris Stefanick will be the keynote speaker for the day. The day will also include workshops, an interactive park, and Mass with Bishop LaValley. Grades 6-12 are encouraged to sign up for this event. PALM SUNDAY: Palm Sunday, the final Sunday marks the beginning of HOLY WEEK. Catholics churches distribute palms on Palm Sunday to commemorate Christ's triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, when palm branches were placed in His path, before His arrest and Crucifixion on Good Friday. Bring home some palms and place them in your home as appropriate signs of your Catholic faith. EASTER DUTY: All Catholics who have reached the age of reason must confess their serious sins in the Sacrament of Penance at least once a year. They must also receive Holy Communion at least once each year during the Easter season, which this year extends until Trinity Sunday, May 26. BISHOP’S FUND: Thank you to all who have contributed to the Bishop’s Fund Appeal. Your support helps Bishop LaValley continue the vital ministries and programs offered by our Church. The Appeal is currently just $27,487.39 away from its goal. HOLY LAND - PETER’S PENCE COLLECTION: On Good Friday, March 29, our parish will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection. This Collection allows the Holy Father to cast the light of Christ upon the world by providing emergency assistance to those who need it most around the globe. Please be generous in next week’s Peter’s Pence Collection.
