FATHERS BLESSING: The observance of Father’s Day next week has an important part in American life. In order to provide some recognition to this day, the following prayer can be used by families at the beginning of a family meal:
God our Father,
in your wisdom and love you made all things.
Bless our father,
that he may be strengthened as a Christian father.
Grant that we, his sons and daughters,
may honor him always
with a spirit of profound respect. Amen
