Mission Intention for September
That people today, often overwhelmed by noise, may rediscover the value of silence and listen to the voice of God and their sisters and brothers.
CUB SCOUTS: Why the Cub Scouts? It’s fun with a purpose! Scouting teaches core values using outdoor experiences and fun activities as a tool to help your son develop leadership skills and help him grow to be the man you hope he will become. If you have a son or know of a boy in 1st through 5th grade, and think they could benefit from the values-based Scouting program, please, call or click today: 1-855-SCOUT-NY www.trcscouting.org

BISHOP’S FUND APPEAL: The 2013 Bishop’s Fund Appeal will begin soon in our parish and throughout the Diocese of Ogdensburg. Our goal is to have 103 or more families participate in this important Appeal. If we do this, we will surely exceed our parish financial target of $9,120. Your gift to the 2013 Bishop’s Fund Appeal will help continue the vital ministries, services and programs that reach out to so many in need. Please consider making a pledge or one-time gift to this year’s effort.

MARRIAGE TIP: Some of us are problem-solvers and some of us are “venters.” Often a problem-solver will try to give helpful suggestions to the venting spouse when all that is really needed is to listen and be sympathetic. Know the difference. Find more Marriage Rx at www.foryourmarriage.org.
GLUTEN FREE HOSTS: If you are in need of a gluten free host, simply inform Fr. Deno before Mass, and he will make sure there is one available for you at Communion..
