NORTH COUNTRY CATHOLIC: The annual North Country Catholic subscription campaign begins this weekend. The price for a year’s subscription to the paper is $27 for Catholics within the Diocese of Ogdensburg. This year will be an especially important time to welcome the diocesan newspaper into your homes as it will serve as a critical source of information as Bishop LaValley announces the diocesan vision, goals and priorities for the diocesan during this year’s Chrism Mass. Please enter your subscription today.  ANOTHER OPTION – “go green” and receive your NCC through email. If interested, write your email address on the envelope .

FORTY DAYS FOR LIFE: During Lent the Plattsburgh community-based campaign of 40 Days for Life invites you to join them in promoting pro-life activities by praying peacefully during the 40 day vigil in the public riight-of-way outside Planned Parenthood, 66 Brinkeroff Street, Plattsburgh, Information is available on their web site: 40daysforlife.com/Plattsburgh, or contacting Nancy Monette at 561-8225.

GLUTEN FREE HOSTS: If you are in need of a gluten free host, simply inform Fr. Deno before Mass, and he will make sure there is one available for you at Communion.

ST. PATRICK DINNER: St. Elizabeth’s Church, Elizabethtown, NY, will hold its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Sunday, March 16th , 2014 at the Parish Hall from 2-6 p.m. It is a dinner of Corned Beef or Ham, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, homemade bread, milk, coffee or tea and gingerbread with topping will be served. Adults: $11. Children under 12: $5.
