Family Fun, prayer, swimming, workshops, mountain climbing, liturgy and more—please contact the rectory for more details and registration forms.

HOW DID YOU HEAR THE GOOD NEWS TODAY?
Television, radio, newspapers, magazines, the Internet—all are places people go to get news and entertainment. But what do we get, exactly, when we turn on “the tube” or log on to the Internet? As a result of your support of the CATHOLIC COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN (CCC), Catholics and all media consumers have increased opportunities to find Gospel-grounded messages and resources to strengthen their families and their faith. Please contribute generously to CCC in today’s collection. Half of all donations received will remain in our diocese to fund local Catholic communication efforts including the North Country Catholic, our diocesan newspaper. Thank you for your generous response.

YEAR OF ST. PAUL
Paul’s Efforts to Keep the Faith Alive: Paul did not forget the faith communities he had established. He became a prolific writer. He had a profound and enduring formative influence in the development of Christianity. Thirteen letters are attributed to Paul. His letters are full of expositions of what Christians should believe and how they should live. He established clearly what it is to be a Christian, and the relationship of the Christian to the Risen Christ. Read Paul’s Letters to the Romans, the First and Second Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, First Thessalonians and Second Thessalonians and Philemon. Saul of Tarsus—St. Paul....a great evangelizer for the life of the Church today!

CAMP GUGGENHEIM:
The Camp operates six weekly sessions from June 29th – August 8th. Each weekly Camp begins on Sunday at 3 pm and ends on Friday at noon. Weeks One through Five are specifically designated for 12-15 year olds. Week Six is for 16-18 year olds. The Camp fee is $235.00 including a non-refundable $100 deposit. For more information www.catholiccamps.org

Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time:
God chooses his workers despite their human familings: Abraham and Sarah, too “old” to do anything “useful”; Matthew, a tax collector for the Roman occupiers; and each of us. Sinners and the useless are saved by their faith. Our faith witnesses to the resurrection. Jesus died for our sins and was raised up to life to justify -- to save -- us. We share this witness with our ancestors, and we will hare with our descendants in God’s familiy.

BAPTISM:
We welcome Jason Patrick Mather, son of Patrick and Heidi (Rabideau) Mather who became a member of the Catholic Church by Baptism on June 1, 2008. May he, his parents and his brothers be blessed by Our Lord Jesus.
