EASTER DUTY: All Catholics who have reached the age of reason must confess their serious sins in the Sacrament of Penance at least once a year. They must also receive Holy Communion at least once each year during the Easter season, which this year extends from March 9th until Trinity Sunday, June 19th.

BRING SOMEONE TO CHURCH: It has been shown that many persons would return to the practice of their faith if someone would invite them to return. And, surprisingly, this is especially true if the one asking was at one time one of those who had left the practice of their faith. What greater time is there than to bring someone back to church during these days of Lent and the coming days of Palm Sunday and Holy Week.

BAPTISM: Kylie Marie LaMora and Connor Scott LaMora children of Patrick and Sarah (Dawson) LaMora, became members of the Catholic community through the Sacrament of Baptism on April 3.

MARRIAGE TIP: Sometimes it’s OK to talk behind your spouse’s back – at least when it comes to telling someone how well he handled a home repair or how deftly she finessed a troublesome neighbor. The compliment will eventually get back to your spouse and sound so sweet through the back door. Find more Marriage Rx at www.foryourmarriage.org.

SETON CATHOLIC SCHOOL: Registration remains open for families who are looking for the kind of quality Catholic environment Seton Catholic offers. We welcome prospective students to visit for the day to check us out. For information phone 561-4031.

WE VALUE THE GIFT OF LIFE - EIGHT WEEKS AFTER CONCEPTION
Hi Friends, I was conceived eight weeks ago and I am about 1 1/2 inches long. I grew half an inch since last week. It is fun to move around and I am learning how to swallow, too. On an ultrasound you might catch me hiccupping. My taste buds and teeth buds are forming and sometimes I open my mouth. My mom is gaining a little more weight and is starting to think about getting maternity clothes. “Did He not create them in the womb like me, the same God forming us in the womb?” (Job 31:15)
