HOLY WATER AND HOME BLESSING FOR EASTER
The Easter water blessed at the Easter Vigil service is available to you to bring home in small bottles you will find near the Holy Water container. Gather your family together and use this Easter water to sprinkle each room of your home after praying the following prayer: Bless all the members of this household and surround them with your protection, that they may find comfort and peace in Jesus Christ, the paschal lamb, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. AMEN
DIOCESAN YOUTH RALLY
The 2013 Diocesan youth rally will be held at Seton Catholic Central in Plattsburgh on Saturday, April 27th. The theme is Jesus-The Way, the Truth, and the Life. Chris Stefanick will be the keynote speaker for the day. The day will also include workshops, an interactive park, and Mass with Bishop LaValley. Grades 6-12 are encouraged to sign up for this event. ROSARY AND ADORATION FOR LIFE
The Knights of Columbus #6067 along with St. James Church and St. Alexander’s Church is hosting a Eucharistic Adoration and Rosary of Life on the Solemnity of the Annunciation, April 8th at 7PM at St. Alexander’s Church, Morrisonville. All are welcome!
CLIMATE CHANGE AMBASSADOR
The Diocese of Ogdensburg and St. Peter’s Church invite you to a presentation on climate change presented by Dr. Gerry Gacioch, Chief of Cardiology at the Rochester General Hospital Heart Institute at 12:30 PM on Sunday April 21 at St. Peter’s Church. The presentation on WHY we should care and WHAT we can do in response to climate change as individuals. He will present Catholic teachings and traditions associated with environmental stewardship. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
“Adore in the most Blessed Sacrament My Heart, which is full of mercy. (Words of Jesus to St. Faustina) Adoration is held throughout the year every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9AM to 9PM at St. John’s Adoration Chapel, downstairs. Everyone is invited to spend some quiet time with Jesus any time during these hours.
