FAITHFUL
CITIZENS: By our
baptism, Catholics are committed to following Jesus Christ and to be salt
for the earth, light for the nations. As the Catechism of the Catholic
Church reminds us, It is necessary that all participate, according to his/her position and
role, in promoting the common good. This is inherent in the dignity of the
human person. As far as possible citizens should take an active part in public
life. Regardless of political party responsible citizenship is a
virtue, and participation in political life is a moral obligation. We thank the
following St. James Parishioners who are seeking to provide responsible public
service through election on Tuesday:
✴John Bernardi
✴Sherman DuBrey
✴James Facteau
✴Joe Gerardi
✴Ellen LaMora
✴Roman Miner

Christian stewardship.
MARRIAGE TIP: Sometimes the
main difference between a happy marriage and a troubled one is preserving an
attitude of “goodwill” when one makes a mistake. How does one build goodwill?
By constantly looking for the good rather than the fault and creating a “bank
account” of positive experiences. Find
more Marriage Rx at www.foryourmarriage.org.

GLUTEN FREE HOSTS: If you are in need of a gluten free host, simply inform
Fr. Deno before Mass, and he will make sure there is one available for you at

PLANNING
FOR DEATH IS NATURAL: Planning for death is as natural for
the Christian as planning for life. As
stated in 1 Timothy 5:8, if anyone does
not take care of his own, and especially of his household; he has denied the
faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Having a Will is good Stewardship.
Take care of your family.
